    •    Onion Juice
    •    Blend a few onions
    •    Extract the juice by squeezing 
    •    Apply the juice to the scalp and hair
    •    Leave for 30 minutes then rinse with shampoo
    •    Repeat the process two times weekly
    •    Onion Oil
    •    Blend 2 Onions with 2 tablespoons of Coconut oil
    •    Pour the onion-coconut paste into the frying pan and add half a cup of coconut oil to it
    •    Stir the mixture and heat on low flame until the mixture gets light brown color
    •    After the mixture cools down, filter the oil through cheesecloth
    •    Transfer the oil to a clean bottle and store it in a cool and dry place
    •    You can add a few drops of essential oil to mask the smell of onion
    •    Massage the oil on the scalp and hair twice a week and rinse with shampoo after 30-45 minutes

Olive Oil

Olive oil is a good choice to help you thicken and protect your hair. Massage your scalp and hair with warm olive oil and leave it 30-45 minutes. Rinse it out with shampoo. 
Another option you can mix olive oil with some honey and apply the mixture on your hair. Leave it on for 30-45 minutes and then wash your hair. You can use either of these two remedies once or twice weekly.


An egg is the best ingredient for a protein hair treatment that makes your hair thicker and stronger.
    •    Take one or two eggs depending on your hair length and beat it properly
    •    Apply the egg on wet hair and leave it for 30 minutes then wash your hair with lukewarm water and shampoo
    •    Use this treatment once or twice a week 


Avocado can help moisturize and thickening of hair. It is rich in Vitamin E which contributes to overall hair health.
    •    Mix one mashed avocado with one mashed banana and one tablespoon of olive oil

    •    Heat a mixture of equal quantity of castor oil and coconut oil

    •    Cover your hair with a towel moistened with warm water
    •    Leave it for one hour and then rinse your hair with shampoo
